CLOVES
Cloves are fragrant dried flowers from the Myrtaceae family that originate from Indonesia. This plant is widely used as a flavoring in various European countries and is the main ingredient in Indonesian kretek cigarettes. Clove trees thrive in humid tropical or subtropical climates, with an annual rainfall of around 2,332 mm.
This plant grows optimally in areas with an altitude of 0-1500 meters above sea level and a temperature of around 20-30 degrees Celsius. The cloves we produce come from plantations in Java, Sulawesi, and parts of Sumatra, where fertile soil and a supportive climate ensure the best quality.
